The easy opening peel off labels : Patent FR n°17663280

The peel off label is one of our leading products, and our customers are constantly pushing us to develop new or improved features. For this peel off label, the challenge was twofold: to facilitate the opening of the peel off label without affecting the manufacturing cost of the label. Our R & D teams thus developed this innovation, protected by a patent (FR n°17663280): a single cutting tool allows to obtain a peel off solution with a cut tab whatever the shape and format of the label.

Security code concealment label "scratch-code": Patent FR n°1757888

Our security label knows how to keep a secret. Especially developed for our customers in the banking sector, this application offers an additional feature on our security label. Protected by a patent (FR n°1757888), this innovation stabilizes the ink deposit and guarantees the inviolability of the secret code.

Audiolink: Patent FR n°1151280

A 3D code allowing to embed, on a pack or an adhesive label, an audio message for the blind or visually impaired.

A specific 3D tactile symbol indicates to the visually impaired consumer the presence of a 2-dimensional code (QR-code, Datamatrix, …) that can be scanned with a smartphone. This tactile symbol has been validated by the French association “Donne-moi tes yeux” (Give me your eyes) and is the subject of a patent filed by Stratus Packaging (Patent FR n°1151280).

Once the code is scanned, the smartphone accesses an audio message, stored on a server, allowing the consumer to access more information about the product (presence of allergens, gluten, dosage, conditions of use, product shelf life, recipes, etc.).

 

Safety pouch for equipment protection – Patents FR No. 3 083 783 & FR No. 3 128 949

This innovative device provides effective protection for sensitive equipment, such as gas cylinders or other containers, against dust and moisture, while ensuring the integrity of critical components (such as control valves).

Two solutions are available depending on the preferred application method:

  • Manual application with security adhesive (patent FR 3 083 783)

  • Automated application using heat-shrink sleeve (patent FR 3 128 949)

The pouch is fully customisable, allowing for the printing of regulatory information or specific usage instructions.

Semi-automatic equipment for applying stretch sleeves to objects of varying diameters – Patent FR No. 3 148 011

This innovative process is designed to reduce the need for dedicated formers for each object. Thanks to a clever airflow system, the equipment automatically adjusts to different diameters, preventing excessive sleeve deformation.

It offers significant benefits in terms of time savings, precision, and improved adaptability on production lines.

Multi-function label with detachable tabs – Patent FR No. 3 128 699 (or FR No. 2 111 456)

This label is composed of several layers:

  • A base material that is not adhesive in the traditional sense of a pressure-sensitive label, but is coated with a water-activated adhesive. This allows the industrial bag manufacturer to seal the roll of bags. The presence of a detachable tab and two lines of perforation makes it easier to remove the roll and access the bags.
  • An intermediate layer, which serves as a non-adhesive backing for the detachable adhesive tabs. This material allows for easy storage of closure and/or identification labels.
  • The detachable tabs, which serve both as closure ties for the bags and as writable memos, on which one can write with a ballpoint pen or marker.
